My Morning Pilates & Wellness Routine
Before the emails start pouring in, before the styling pulls, and before the daily to-do list takes over, my mornings belong strictly to me.
In my twenties, I thought "wellness" meant pushing myself to the absolute limit. Now, I know that true wellness is about longevity, deep care, and feeling beautifully balanced in your own body. My morning routine is less of a strict regimen and more of a daily ritual that sets the tone for a well-styled life.
6:30 AM: Quiet & Hydration I wake up and immediately head to the kitchen for warm water with a generous squeeze of lemon. I don't look at my phone for the first hour of the day. I light my favorite warm amber and sea salt candle to make the house feel like a sanctuary, even if it's just for twenty minutes.
7:00 AM: Movement Pilates has completely transformed my posture and my mind. Whether I’m heading to a reformer class or just rolling out my mat in the living room for 30 minutes of mat work, this core-focused movement is my non-negotiable. It makes me stand taller and feel endlessly more confident in my clothes.
8:00 AM: Beautiful Recovery Recovery shouldn't be an afterthought, and your tools shouldn't be an eyesore. I use my high-density foam roller to stretch out my back and legs. I purposefully sourced a roller that looks sleek and minimalist so I can leave it out in my living room without it ruining the aesthetic.
Taking care of yourself is the ultimate luxury. When you feel good, everything you wear looks better.
